TAITUNG, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As part of the yearend countdown festivities in Taitung County, Magistrate Justin Huang rode alongside the MurMurShow band on a horse-drawn Christmas carriage to greet partygoers on the street. The duo then performed their hit singles such as “Five Tigers” at a press conference on December 18. Huang then introduced the list of this year's performers as a prelude to the 2016 So High Year-end Party.
A strong cast, including MurMurShow band and blind Taiwanese Tai-pop and Mandopop artist Ricky Hsiao will show their best to partygoers on the event of December 31.
Crowd Lu, an indie singer-songwriter, popular Won Fu Band, young students' favorite POP Corn, their idol Vienna Lin and rock band Rosy are among the performers. Ching Yi, Savakan Hey!, Kabudayang and Golden Song festival winners will also join the participants in the count-down to a new year amidst fireworks and colorful LED wands at the Seaside Park.
The organizer purposely picked the popular site to stage the year-end party so that people of all ages will enjoy a most unforgettable evening to welcome the advent of 2016 with blessings from the Taitung County Government.
The colorful LED wands, made with a design of Taitung's "Tree of Life," are free of charge if you exchange one with 10 invoices of November and December, with each person limited to two (in exchange of 20 invoices). Lottery wins from the invoices will be given as gifts to social welfare groups.
