Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc. Clarifies the Portfolio Composition of its High Income Funds

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.--()--In response to inquiries the company has received about the credit quality of its High Income funds, Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc. (NYSE:WDR) issued the following statement:

Our high income portfolios are not distressed credit funds. In addition, the CCC rated portion of the portfolios is weighted toward the higher-quality segment of bonds of that rating. The Ivy High Income fund currently is positioned as follows:
