World AIDS Day Brings Special Edition (aden + anais)RED Daydream Blanket

NEW YORK--()--Global baby brand aden + anais® and (RED)® announced today the debut of their new Special Edition Daydream Blanket to benefit the Global Fund to fight AIDS. It offers an easy way for people to take action towards our first AIDS-free generation in over 30 years. The third collaboration for aden + anais and (RED), the adult-size cotton muslin blanket marks the partnership’s first product outside the baby category. Its release coincides with World AIDS Day, December 1, 2015.

For every aden + anais (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition Daydream Blanket sold, 10% of the retail price will go to the Global Fund to fight AIDS. Each purchase of a Special Edition Daydream Blanket can provide 25 days of life-saving medicine to help prevent a mother living with HIV from passing the virus to her baby. Additional aden + anais (PRODUCT)RED products will be launched over the course of the next year, of which 10% of the retail price will also go to the Global Fund, up to $100,000 total.

“We are so very proud to be a Special Edition partner with (RED) again and continue our relationship to do everything we can to help save lives,” said Raegan Moya-Jones, aden + anais Co-Founder and CEO. “We’re particularly excited about this Daydream Blanket because it’s for adults, and don’t adults deserve to be surrounded by the ultimate comfort of muslin, too? We think its appeal will be widespread, which in turn will generate generous funds to help eliminate AIDS in Africa.”

Made from four layers of 100% cotton muslin, the Special Edition Daydream Blanket offers the comfy goodness of muslin that little ones love, at a size big enough for grownups. Like all aden + anais muslin products, the blanket is pre-washed, so it’s soft from the start and stays that way wash after wash. It pairs the graphic pop of red stars with a crisp white background—making it a stylish throw for the master bedroom or family room. In the true spirit of the do-it-all nature of muslin, the Special Edition Daydream Blanket feels good, looks good and does good.

The aden + anais (PRODUCT)RED Daydream Blanket will retail for $99.95 and will be sold at adenandanais.com and key retail accounts. For more information on the blanket and the fight against AIDS, visit red.org.
