United Online Board of Directors Acknowledges Receipt of B. Riley Proposal

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.--()--United Online, Inc. (Nasdaq: UNTD), a leading provider of consumer services and products over the Internet, today acknowledged receipt of an unsolicited proposal from B. Riley Capital Management for a negotiated transaction to acquire all the Company’s outstanding shares. The company issued the following statement:
