Arrow Electronics Wins 2015 ECIA Marketing Awards

CENTENNIAL, Colo.--()--Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW) today announced it won several Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA) Marketing Awards for its Semi-Autonomous Motorcar (SAM) project, including “People’s Choice,” “Best Brand/Digital Marketing” and “Best Video Production - Company.” The awards were presented last week at the 2015 ECIA Executive Conference in Chicago.

“It is an honor to receive this recognition from ECIA and our industry peers,” said Rich Kylberg, vice president of corporate marketing and communications at Arrow. “Our SAM car project is a great example of how Arrow is thinking Five Years Out and finding innovative ways to use technology to improve people’s lives.”

The annual awards contest provides ECIA members with a chance to spotlight their marketing materials in nine different categories. Over 100 entries were reviewed by a panel of judges led by Kirby Strickland, a past chairman of the Business Marketing Association and recipient of the G.D. Crain Award, which recognizes career achievements in business-to-business marketing communications.
