DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DAZBOG Coffee Company announced today that it is adding Limited Edition micro-lot coffees to its collection of successful and popular Russian-themed brands. Micro-lots are the latest innovation from a company that has enjoyed significant growth and expansion, adding new locations, distribution points and products at an accelerated pace.
Selected from small, rare crops, micro-lot coffee beans are available in very limited quantities and for short periods of time. Like rare bottles of fine wine, once they are consumed they are no longer available.
“These unique brews provide a special coffee drinking experience unlike anything else available,” explained DAZBOG President and Chief Operating Officer Leonid Yuffa. “Our micro-lots offer a highly valued, farmer-to-cup, limited time coffee journey.”
Leonid and his brother, Anatoly, founded their gourmet roasting company in Denver in 1996 after immigrating to the United States with their family from Leningrad, Russia. Their iconic packaging and advertising featuring distinctive black, red and white designs and Russian-themed names like KGB Blend, Babushaka Decaf and Svoboda Blend helped establish the company’s rapid success within the Rocky Mountain region among those seeking small-batch, gourmet, slow-roasted brews from the best estates and plantations around the world.
Today the company offers a large variety of coffees in addition to the Limited Edition micro-lots. Consumers can enjoy DAZBOG coffee at any of the company’s nearly 30 stores or by purchasing beans or ground coffee at King Soopers, Natural Grocers, Marczyk Fine Foods, Target or Safeway to brew at home or work. Single-serve packaging is also now available for personal brewing.
“We are especially excited to be partnering with King Soopers to bring our first micro-lots to consumers,” said Yuffa. “Sales of our regular and organic coffees at King Soopers have been very strong and we know that their customers will be excited to be the first in our area to have access to this unique coffee drinking experience.”
DAZBOG sales locations include hospitals, shopping malls and airports in addition to traditional retail storefront locations, grocery stores and select restaurants. Some micro-lots will be available exclusively in the company’s retail locations.
