Signal Hill Hires Senior Banker, Grows Capabilities in Private Placements

Chris Hastings Joins Signal Hill’s New York Office to Lead Equity Private Placement Group

BALTIMORE--()--Signal Hill, a leading independent advisory boutique serving the M&A and private capital raising needs of growth companies, is pleased to announce that Chris Hastings, who has led the private placement groups at Bear Stearns and Cantor Fitzgerald, has joined the firm as a Managing Director in its New York office. Mr. Hastings will lead Signal Hill’s equity private placement group and focus on growth-stage technology companies.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Hastings worked in the private placement groups at Bank of America and Prudential Securities. He went on to lead Bear Stearns’ private placement group through 2007 before joining the private placement group at Credit Suisse, and subsequently joined Cantor Fitzgerald to start its private placement group. Mr. Hastings was most recently a Principal at BerchWood Partners, a boutique investment firm focused on raising capital for private equity firms and their portfolio companies. He received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University.
