Mike Gill, the former Secretary of the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED), was appointed last week by Governor Larry Hogan to be the state’s first Secretary of Commerce. He will join TCM for its Executive Breakfast Club Roundtable to share his vision for “The Next Chapter.” |

Secretary Gill will discuss DBED’s transition to the Department of Commerce and explain how this revamped agency will approach development of innovative industries in Maryland. He also will explain how the State will better serve the business community with a more expansive economic development presence throughout all regions of Maryland and a stronger focus on customer service. |

The TCM Executive Breakfast Club Roundtables are quarterly events designed to give members the opportunity to directly engage with government, business and industry leaders, and their peers through small group educational discussions about important industry issues. During these events, speakers share their knowledge about a wide range of topics, including workforce development, cybersecurity, STEM, issues impacting small and mid-sized businesses, government contracting and advisory groups. |
