NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Executive compensation consultancy Pearl Meyer announced today that Martin J. Somelofske has joined its New York office as a Managing Director. Mr. Somelofske comes to the firm with more than 25 years of senior-level experience advising Boards and designing business-based compensation and incentive programs.

Mr. Somelofske has worked with global companies, both public and private, as well as not-for-profit entities, and he has specialized experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as designing compensation programs that execute leadership strategies through recruiting and retention. Most recently Mr. Somelofske served as Principal, Executive Compensation at the Hay Group and previous to that position, was a Managing Director at PwC and has also held senior roles with Deloitte Consulting and KPMG. He is a frequent speaker at industry forums and a member of World at Work and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP).
