Westmoreland’s Beulah Mine Extends Heskett Coal Supply Agreement

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--()--Westmoreland Coal Company (NasdaqGM:WLB), through its Dakota Westmoreland Corporation subsidiary, has entered into an extension of its long-term coal supply agreement with Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. to supply coal from the Beulah Mine to the R.M. Heskett Power Station in Mandan, North Dakota. The agreement results in a commitment of approximately 450,000 tons of coal a year from Beulah through December 31, 2021.
