(NYSE: BKE) announced today that comparable store net sales, for stores open at least one year, for the 4-week period ended August 29, 2015 decreased 3.3 percent from comparable store net sales for the 4-week period ended August 30, 2014. Net sales for the 4-week fiscal month ended August 29, 2015 decreased 2.1 percent to $101.4 million from net sales of $103.6 million for the prior year 4-week fiscal month ended August 30, 2014.
Comparable store net sales year-to-date for the 30-week period ended August 29, 2015 decreased 2.2 percent from comparable store net sales for the 30-week period ended August 30, 2014. Net sales for the 30-week fiscal period ended August 29, 2015 decreased 0.4 percent to $608.8 million from net sales of $611.0 million for the prior year 30-week fiscal period ended August 30, 2014.
