NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vetr.com has announced its Fall 2015 University Challenge. Students from around the country will use Vetr’s award winning website (www.vetr.com) to rate stocks and determine the collegiate champion of stock picking.
Students will be competing for a whole lot of money’s worth of Amazon gift cards and the grand prize winner will win an internship with Vetr Inc. for winter break. Entrants will be required to enter a target price for 5 stocks or ETFs of their choosing. The students with the most accurate predictions will be the winners.
“This is a great opportunity for students to get hands on experience in investment analysis. The University Challenge is definitely a great idea for any student looking to build their resume and learn more about stocks” says Patrick Williams, CEO of Vetr.
“Last semester, Bernardino Ortiz, from the University of Southern California, won the University Challenge with a portfolio of energy stocks. It will be very interesting to see whose portfolio strategy come out on top this time around” says Rahul Kaundal, marketing analyst at Vetr.
Students can register for the Vetr University Challenge by heading to vetr.com/universitychallenge. The competition is now live and will end on November 18, 2015.
