MILAN & PISCATAWAY, N.J.--()--IEEE, the world's largest professional organization advancing technology for humanity, today announced attendee registration is open for its 2nd Annual World Forum on Internet of Things (WF-IoT). This year’s event will be held 14-16 December 2015, in Milan, Italy, gathering technologists from around the globe to examine key critical innovations across technologies that will change the IoT research and industry application space of the future. Dr. Vinton G. Cerf, VP and Chief Internet Evangelist, Google, co-inventor of the Internet, and an IEEE Life Fellow, will be a conference keynote speaker.

Dr. Cerf is also the co-designer of the TCP/IP protocols, the most recent version of which is IPv6.
