Second Annual Communications Week Kicks Off on October 20, 2015 with a Focus on Innovation in Communications

Week-long Celebration and Exploration of the PR and Media Industries Will Include Events by the Industry’s Top Professional Organizations and Forward-looking Companies

NEW YORK--()--The second annual Communications Week ® is a collaborative celebration of the public relations, communications and media industries that will be held the week of October 19th, 2015 at various locations in New York City and online. The year’s theme of “Innovation in Communications” will feature programming and content that highlights whom and what are driving change, invention and originality and in the PR, media and marketing industries.

The week begins on Tuesday, October 20th with a keynote from Business Wire CEO Cathy Baron Tamraz, who will provide an exclusive first look at the company’s 2015 Media Survey. Her session will be followed by a panel examining what’s driving innovation in communications as well as an afternoon fireside chat with Mark Josephson, CEO of Bitly.

The week will include organization partner events as well as a discussion on global communications trends with TechDay. Session discussions will cover content marketing, social media, virtual reality and more. View the current calendar of events here.
