Omni Hotels & Resorts Launches Fifth Annual Be Collaborative Series

Luxury Hotel Brand Offers Innovative and Educational Development Experiences for Meeting Planners and Travel Professionals

DALLAS--()--Omni Hotels & Resorts announced today details for the fifth annual Be Collaborative road-show, a professional development series offered to meeting planners across the nation. From Aug. 20 – Dec. 17, compelling keynote speakers will provide both personal and professional development techniques at Omni properties in seven key cities across North America, each followed by a networking event. Each year clients and suppliers gain new insights on how to best collaborate to achieve productivity and mutual success. The program has expanded this year to also educate professionals based in Canada.

New this year, Be Collaborative will examine the art of collaboration and how it’s implemented in the music industry, launching in Nashville, also known as Music City. The personal development session will include talks and performances from today’s hit country music songwriters, including Grammy Award-winners Rivers Rutherford, Brett James and Tim Nichols. Professionals will hear the behind the scenes collaboration that inspired some of the most memorable country hits from Tim McGraw’s Live Like You Were Dying to Carrie Underwood’s Jesus Take The Wheel.

The second interactive session will unveil the secrets behind revenue management. The professional education sessions shed light on the need to collaborate and understand revenue management from both the organization’s perspective as well as the hotel’s. It has become more important than ever, and is rapidly becoming an expected competency of the meeting planning and travel buyer professional. Professional speakers will provide the tools for successful hotel negotiations revealing revenue management techniques that will increase proficient understanding of hotel pricing strategies related to supply versus demand.

“Revenue management is a topic that often mystifies people, and we are happy to provide clarity with another successful Be Collaborative series of education enrichment for meeting planners, travel advisors and business travel managers,” said Tom Faust, vice president of sales for Omni Hotels & Resorts. “We are honored to have music industry leaders join us this year to offer their unique perspective on how the power of collaboration can make our personal and professional lives successful.”

The Be Collaborative series launches at the Omni Nashville Hotel on Aug. 20. Following locations and dates include The Omni King Edward Hotel in Toronto on Sept. 2; recently renovated Omni Providence Hotel in Rhode Island on Sept. 24; The Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Va., on Oct. 24; Omni Chicago Hotel on Nov. 6; Omni Houston Hotel on Nov. 19; and Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza on Dec. 17.
