HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Audi announced it will be the official luxury automotive sponsor of the East Coast Open at Greenwich Polo Club in alliance with the United States Polo Association®, one of polo’s most prestigious domestic competitions. The Audi polo team will compete in the tournament taking place over three consecutive Sundays from August 23 – September 6 in Greenwich, CT.

During the opening ceremonies, Audi will present the ball toss from the 2015 RS 5, a stunning coupe offering track-inspired performance and industry-leading style, which will also guide each team to center field and transport them to the trophy wagon for the closing ceremony. Additional Audi vehicles will be displayed throughout the event including the 2015 R8 and RS 7 models.
Audi is also supporting the event with an exclusive hospitality experience on August 23 where guests will have the opportunity to meet Audi polo team members, including Roldan, and participate in experiential activities. The first 50 guests with general admission seating who present an Audi key at the Audi VIP tent at each match, will be provided access to the hospitality experience. Audi will also have presence over the course of the tournament at additional VIP hospitality events with other luxury sponsors. The East Coast Open attracts nearly 10,000 spectators throughout the duration of the events in addition to the world’s elite polo players. The preliminary matches of the 20-goal tournament will be live-streamed on ChukkerTV.com and the championship final will be aired on NBC Sports Network on September 13, 2015 at 7 p.m. EDT.
