Huron Consulting Group Hires Chief Marketing Officer

Debbie Murphy to Lead Global Brand Development and Marketing Strategy

CHICAGO--()--Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business consulting services, today announced that Debbie Murphy has joined the Company as corporate vice president and chief marketing officer (CMO). Murphy is a global marketing leader with a documented track record of increasing market share and driving growth in diverse vertical markets.

Murphy will be responsible for global brand development, marketing strategy and programs, and corporate communications. In collaboration with Huron’s businesses, she will be tasked with cultivating opportunities in current and new markets, and growing awareness and reputation for Huron’s services.

Most recently, Murphy served as vice president, global marketing for Zebra Technologies, a tracking and visibility solutions provider. There, she led the company’s global market strategies and operations, and directed the communications and integration of marketing for Zebra’s recent acquisition of Motorola Solutions’ enterprise business. Murphy’s extensive background in business and marketing strategy began at MCI Telecommunications. She also held positions within GTE (Verizon) and Rexam PLC.
