Fortune International Group and Savills Announce Real Estate Business Alliance

Broadening The Top Real Estate Firms’ Reach to Global Networks

MIAMI--()--Edgardo Defortuna, Founder, CEO and President of Fortune International Group, has announced his firm’s alliance with Savills plc.

London Stock Exchange-listed Savills plc, established in 1855, is a global real estate powerhouse with more than 600 offices and 30,000 employees across Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa, the Americas and the Middle East. Savills offers a broad range of specialist advisory, management and transactional services to clients all over the world.

The collaboration will generate significant growth opportunities by greatly extending the business reach of both Fortune, through connection into a global network, and Savills into the valuable Florida property market.

Fortune International Group and its brokerage division, Fortune International Realty, have 1,000 associates in 15 offices in Florida from Orlando to Miami to Key Largo, and a strong presence in Latin America.

The combined Fortune companies have completed $3.5 billion in sales each year for the last three years. In the last two years, more than 80 percent of those sales have been to foreign nationals originating from 82 different countries.

“Fortune International Group’s expertise in working with international buyers and sellers makes our alliance with Savills an exciting one. Our strong US and Latin American presence complements Savills’ reach into other parts of the world. Together we can provide an unparalleled platform to serve a worldwide clientele,” said Defortuna.

Since 1983, Miami-based Fortune International Group has been a pacesetter in South Florida real estate, steadily expanding into property management, exclusive on-site sales representation for luxury developments, and ground-up development of signature properties. Among Fortune’s high-profile developments are Jade Signature, Jade Ocean, The Ritz-Carlton Residences Sunny Isles Beach, Hyde Resort & Residences in Hollywood, FL, and Auberge Beach Residences and Spa Fort Lauderdale.

Rupert Sebag-Montefiore, head of global residential, Savills, said, “We are delighted that a firm of such scale and quality has joined our global residential network. Fortune International Group complements our existing US Associates in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

"The Miami real estate market is now one of the strongest and most international residential markets in the world, making Fortune’s membership of an international network all the more relevant.”
