Wild Wing Cafe has grown steadily since the first restaurant opened in Hilton Head, S.C., in 1990. Since the Charlotte, N.C.-based private equity firm Axum Capital Partners acquired the company in 2012, the number of restaurants has grown from 32 to 38.
