BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EBSCO Industries, Inc., (www.ebscoind.com) an international corporation that provides a wide range of products and services for consumers and businesses throughout many industries, has signed a 10 year agreement that will equip its luxury residential communities and several of its companies with HeartSine Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).
Cardiac Solutions will provide HeartSine samaritan® PAD 350P AEDs to EBSCO’s corporate headquarters and its upscale communities of ALYS Beach in the Panama City, Florida, area and Mt Laurel in Birmingham, Alabama. The AEDs will be placed throughout the communities, protecting thousands of citizens in the event of Sudden Cardiac Arrest, a condition in which the heart suddenly and unexpectedly stops beating.

The HeartSine samaritan PAD analyzes the heart rhythm and delivers an electrical shock to victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest in order to restore the heart to normal rhythm. The user-friendly AED provides easy to follow visual and audio prompts to guide the rescuer from pad application to shock delivery, if required.
