SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--National Planning Corporation® (NPC®), one of the country’s leading independent broker-dealers, has announced the appointment of Patricia McCallop as vice president and chief compliance officer for the firm.
McCallop will be responsible for leading NPC’s Compliance team and overseeing the company’s adherence to state and federal regulations. She will be based in Santa Monica and report to John C. Johnson, president and chief executive officer, with shared oversight by Gerry Gunderson, senior vice president and general counsel of Regulatory Affairs.

McCallop rejoins NPC after serving in the role of assistant vice president of Advisory Compliance for NPC from October 2010 to April 2012. Following this position, she led the Compliance team at Zuk Financial Group in Lake Forest, CA. McCallop brings 11 years of compliance experience to her new position. She is a graduate of Wellesley College in Massachusetts and holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Maine School of Law. McCallop maintains State Bar memberships in Maryland, North Carolina and Maine. She also holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 66 registrations and California Life, Accident and Health licenses.
