MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Just in time for the 4th of July, Bay & Bay Transportation unveiled a Freightliner Evolution truck featuring a bold, custom-designed patriotic theme. The image honors those who have served in the U.S. military, especially prisoners of war and those missing in action. The custom artwork includes a black and white photo taken of Dave Anderson, founder of Bay & Bay Transportation, while serving in Vietnam in 1966. Dave passed away in 2009.
“Our company has always had a strong affiliation with the U.S. military because of my dad’s service in the Marines,” said Sam Anderson, Dave’s son and current president and CEO of Bay & Bay. “It’s become part of the fabric of our company and who we are.”
The new patriotic truck joins nine other custom-designed Bay & Bay company trucks on the nation’s highways.
