Ingleside Rebrands as it Positions for Growth in the Senior Living Market

Umbrella Organization for Family of Retirement Communities Launches New Brand, Together with New Website

WASHINGTON--()--Ingleside, a premier provider of comprehensive senior living services in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, is unveiling its recent rebranding and a new website as it approaches planned expansions at two of its retirement communities. Based in Washington, D.C., Ingleside is the umbrella organization for three continuing care retirement communities: Ingleside at Rock Creek in D.C.; Westminster at Lake Ridge in Lake Ridge, Va.; and Ingleside at King Farm in Rockville, Md. Ingleside’s affiliate organizations also include: Westminster Ingleside Foundation; Westminster Ingleside Group (WING); and the soon-to-launch home-based care program, Ingleside at Home.

The timing of Ingleside’s rebranding and enhanced marketing is pivotal, as the organization positions itself for future growth. WING, the company’s management and development arm, is currently planning expansion projects that are targeted to begin within the next two years at two of the communities: Ingleside at Rock Creek and Ingleside at King Farm.

Based on extensive research and with the input of all sectors of the Ingleside community – including members of the Ingleside board, residents, management and staff – Ingleside developed the new tagline: “Engaged Living.” Ingleside’s rebranding process took a total of 15 months.

“As Ingleside continues to grow, we thought hard about how we wanted to define our brand and position ourselves for continued success, long into the future,” said Ingleside President and CEO Lynn O’Connor. “Our residents come to us having built full, productive and engaged lives, and it is our pledge to make sure that when residents join the Ingleside family, they continue to lead engaged lives. This was the spirit behind the entire branding effort, and through our collective discussions, we proudly arrived at the birth of our new ‘Engaged Living’ tagline.”

Among key components of Ingleside’s rebranding are an enhanced web presence, a new marketing campaign, and updated logos for each of the communities and affiliate organizations, which include the Westminster Ingleside Foundation and WING.
