R. Dennis Moon to Speak at Women’s Energy Network – North Texas Chapter July 2015 Luncheon Meeting in Fort Worth

DALLAS--()--R. Dennis Moon – National Executive and Managing Director of Specialty Asset Management, will be the guest speaker at the luncheon meeting of the Women’s Energy Network (WEN) – North Texas Chapter on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at the Fort Worth Petroleum Club, 777 Main Street #4000. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by the luncheon from noon-1:00 p.m.

Moon will present a discussion titled, “Food, Forests and Fuel.” A question-and-answer session will follow his presentation.

Moon is the national executive and managing director for the Specialty Asset Management group at U. S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. This includes the national fiduciary role for Real Estate, Farm & Ranch, Oil, Gas & Minerals, Timberland and Private Business Group for U.S. Trust. He is a member of the Investment Strategy Committee responsible for promoting the firm’s investment policy and guidance and is a key contributor to the firm’s tactical and strategic asset allocation process. He also currently serves as Chair of the Specialty Asset Management National Committee

Prior to joining U.S. Trust, Moon was the managing director at Wachovia Bank, heading up their Specialty Asset Management group. He is also a past president of the National Trust Real Estate Association (NTREA) and a member of the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF). Moon has years of experience in the direct management, investment, oversight and responsibility for specialty assets. He is a frequent speaker at Risk Management conferences at the national and regional levels on the benefit and challenges of owning specialty assets. He is also frequently quoted in various media publications including the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, CNN Money and Barrons.

Moon graduated from Presbyterian College with a degree in Business Management and from the Executive Management Program at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation.
