SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Checkr, the market-leader providing simple, fast and compliant background screenings for Enterprises and Startups today announced the hire of Bon Idziak as Head of Government Relations and Compliance to bolster its lead as the most technology advanced and compliant background screening Company.
Bon Idziak will report to Daniel Yanisse, CEO and Co-Founder of Checkr. Based in Checkr’s San Francisco Headquarters, Idziak’s appointment corresponds with the first birthday of the fast growing Company which already serves more than 3,000 customers throughout the United States. Idziak will manage all Government Relations for Checkr, and ensure Checkr’s lead as the most scalable and compliant background screening provider.
Bon Idziak is an 18-year industry professional and subject matter expert on the topics of Background Screening, Drug Testing and HR Technology. Prior to joining Checkr, Idziak was the CEO of an Internationally recognized Consumer Reporting Agency. Currently, Idziak serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS). Prior to his election to the Board, Idziak chaired the Government Relations Committee for many years, providing a critical component to the association’s efforts regarding federal and state regulatory requirements and oversight. In addition, Idziak serves as President and on the Board of Directors for the Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association (SAPAA), and as past Chairman and current Board Member of the HR Open Standards Consortium.
