NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Windels Marx is pleased to announce Jerome Walker has joined the firm as Partner, resident in the New York, NY office. Mr. Walker will focus his practice on the regulation, supervision and compliance activities of commercial banks, investment banks, and the United States operations of international banks. His experience crosses many sectors and spans multiple geographies, including an expansive range of national and international clients throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Prior to private practice, Mr. Walker was a former Senior Attorney for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency; a former General Counsel for an international bank; and a former Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Anti-Money Laundering and Counterterrorism for several financial institutions. He previously was a partner at another law firm.
Mr. Walker serves as an active member of a number of organizations, including the New York County Lawyers' Association, New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association, as well as the Institute of International Bankers Professional Liaison Committee. Mr. Walker earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1984 and completed his B.A. at Morehouse College in 1981, graduating with distinction. He is licensed to practice in New York.
