NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Board of Directors of Macquarie Global Infrastructure Total Return Fund Inc. (NYSE:MGU) (the “Fund”) declared on June 4, 2015, a regular distribution for the quarter ending May 31, 2015 of $0.37 per share, representing a $0.02 per share or 6% increase from the previous quarter.
“The companies within the portfolio have continued to post strong results,” said Jon Ong, Co-Portfolio Manager on the Fund. “We are pleased to be able to increase distributions to our shareholders.”
Based on the Fund’s net asset value (“NAV”) of $ 28.71 and New York Stock Exchange closing market price of $25.41 on June 3, 2015, the $0.37 per share distribution is equal to an annualized distribution rate of 5.2% at NAV and 5.8% at market price, respectively.
A portion of the distributions may be treated as paid from sources other than net income, including, but not limited to, short-term capital gain, long-term capital gain and return of capital. The final determination of the source of all distributions in 2015, including the percentage of qualified dividend income, will be made by the Fund after December 31, 2015.
This distribution will be payable on June 30, 2015 to shareholders of record on June 18, 2015, with an ex-dividend date of June 16, 2015.
