Edifecs to Exhibit at 2015 AHIP Institute, Launch Thought Leadership Program

Edifecs takes the lead with customers and healthcare community to advance thought leadership in health IT interoperability

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--()--Edifecs, a global health information technology solutions company, announced today at AHIP Institute 2015 (June 3-5 in Nashville) the launch of a new industry group, the “Interoperability Inner Circle.” The program, which is open to Edifecs customers and their stakeholders in the healthcare community, will promote thought leadership and best practices in health IT interoperability.

Exhibiting at booth #503, Edifecs will demonstrate tools that will help health plans move beyond paper-based processes to scale value-based care and reimbursement programs, impact more members and drive better outcomes. Edifecs will also host a networking event for women in healthcare at #HersMeetup at AHIP Institute.

Interoperability Inner Circle

The draft roadmap released by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) detailed the best available interoperability standards and implementation specifications toward specific health care purposes. With the roadmap in hand, the industry has turned its focus to issues of the interoperable exchange of health information. The Inner Circle of Interoperability will provide networking opportunities for payers, providers and the broader healthcare community to foster:

  • An understanding of how the use of interoperability standards is driving data accessibility, reusability, and quality of administrative, financial and clinical transactions for value-based care models.
  • Actionable guidance on how to assess the value of interoperability for payment, treatment and healthcare operations for measurable ROI.
  • Reduction in the overall cost of system ownership across healthcare partnerships with effective system integration and data governance strategies.
  • Preparation for the next generation of system integration standards in healthcare.

Participants will engage through thought leadership events, market insights and best practices. Edifecs will offer unique perspectives for addressing the new movement in health IT interoperability in the U.S. healthcare market and affecting all key healthcare stakeholders; payers, providers and government entities.

#HersMeetup at AHIP Institute

Edifecs is hosting a networking brunch #HersMeetup at #ahipinstitute, to bring together women across healthcare to support, network and find mentors among female industry leaders. In conjunction with the event, Edifecs is spearheading a fundraiser for the women's health organization BrightPink.org. If you tweet #HersMeetUp to @edifecs the company will donate $1 to brightpink.org on your behalf.
