First Bankcard Introduces New Features to Mobile App Capabilities, Offering Credit Card Customers Quicker Access to Accounts

OMAHA, Neb.--()--First Bankcard, a division of First National Bank of Omaha and a leading issuer of credit cards, is pleased to announce the launch of new features to its mobile app capabilities, offering credit card customers quicker access to their accounts with Passcode and Quick Balance.

“The Passcode functionality allows our mobile credit card users to use a secure four-digit number to log in to their account instead of having to use their username and password,” said Mihaela Kobjerowski, vice president, Customer Management and Digital Solutions. “Once the Passcode is set, customers can view their account information by inputting their four-digit code.”

Kobjerowski said Quick Balance lets credit card customers view account balances and recent transactions without having to log in. Customers simply set up a one-touch access to get a quick overview of their accounts. First Bankcard’s Quick Balance feature is also one of a few in the market that shows the customer’s last 10 transactions.

Additional features of the First Bankcard mobile app allows users to review account details, make payments, view statements, set and receive email alerts, view messages, review profile information, connect with customer service, and view and redeem awards.

“We’re excited to provide our credit card customers with the convenience and flexibility to manage their accounts from anywhere,” she said. “The new Passcode and Quick Balance features offer us a great opportunity to encourage adoption and engagement of our mobile apps.”

The app is available at the “iTunes Store” or "Play Store" and then searching "First Bankcard" to download. Customers may use their mobile device of choice.
