The Third Stop in SDL’s 2015 Global Conference Tour Brings Together Industry Experts and Practitioners to Discuss Critical Customer Experience Strategies

WAKEFIELD, Mass. & MAIDENHEAD, United Kingdom--()--SDL (LSE: SDL) today announced the third stop in its annual SDL Innovate conference schedule, taking place at Hotel Nikko May 11 through 13 in San Francisco. The thought leadership event will feature sessions led by SDL executives, customers and industry experts that examine how smart machines, intelligent analytics, digital content and context-aware systems are shaping the future of customer experience (CX).

Monday will serve as a pre-conference day, featuring 10 dedicated tracks and 45 sessions for marketers, CX professionals, administrators and developers. The sessions, ranging from the basics to deep dive developer sessions, are suitable for all those interested in leveraging the full potential of SDL capabilities to accelerate CX projects. The learning experience will focus on inspirational stories and training sessions led by a mix of SDL executives, customers and industry experts. Business and marketing users can also learn how to effectively plan, execute and measure their omni-channel campaigns in the dedicated “CX 101” track.

Kicking off the conference, SDL CEO Mark Lancaster will present an executive address on Tuesday, delving into the future of SDL and the CX industry. On Wednesday, SDL CMO Paige O’Neill will be joined by leading global brands, including American Express and NetApp, to reveal CX lessons from the trenches, specifically addressing the impact of CX mishaps as well as how to prevent these negative experiences and the steps to take when one does occur. Dennis van der Veeke, SDL’s CTO, will also take the stage on Wednesday to share how organizations can master both the art and science of CX with technology to accelerate their strategies and success.

The featured customer keynote presentation by Shawn Burns, senior vice president of web and digital marketing at Schneider Electric, will address how to deliver a global marketing, sales and service experience. Several other SDL customers – including Texas Instruments, EMC, Intel and NextIT – will present various sessions to discuss the latest CX trends they’re seeing from an end-user standpoint and also share real-world examples of implementations and results. Customer-led discussions will include those on “Nine use cases for machine translation” and “How to deliver approved engaging content globally,” among others.
