Digital Government Summit to Share Best Practices for Paperless Government

WASHINGTON--()--e-SignLive™ by Silanis, the e-signature choice for business, in partnership with Government Executive, today announced its E-Signature Summit for Digital Government, taking place the morning of April 29 at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center in Washington, DC.

With all levels and branches of government under pressure to lower costs while simultaneously improve service delivery and strengthen accountability, many government organizations have turned to technology as a solution. Electronic signatures are one such technology, with government organizations of all levels – including the U.S. Army, the General Services Administration and the State of Vermont –finding e-signatures to meet even the toughest of requirements.

With the challenges government organizations face in mind, senior IT and program managers are invited to join the e-SignLive team for a half-day educational summit that will detail how electronic signatures are supporting today’s digital government strategies, in particular around mobility. Presentations will also discuss scaling solutions across multiple business processes and cover the growing demand to consider cloud services. For those tasked with eliminating paper-based workflows, this will be a unique opportunity to hear about solutions in use and a chance to network with peers.

Attendees will hear from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service’s Michelle Thomas, CISO, and Patrick McFall, Director, Software Services & Delivery, as they share their digital government success story. Presenters will cover both the internal e-signature policy process and how the USDA APHIS uses secure e-signatures to enable online permitting today. e-SignLive will also share best practices gained from more than 500 government customers and some of the longest running, largest paperless government initiatives worldwide, and attendees will leave with practical guidance and tools to help their organizations become digital.
