FUJIFILM Names Dr. Bruce Novich Division President of Newly Established Industrial and Corporate New Business Development Division

VALHALLA, N.Y.--()--FUJIFILM North America Corporation announced today that Dr. Bruce Novich has been named Division President of FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Industrial and Corporate New Business Development Division (FNAC-IBD), effective April 1, 2015.

Novich came to FUJIFILM Electronic Materials as part of the Fujifilm’s acquisition of Arch Chemical’s Microelectronic Materials Division, where he had a senior management position. Prior to his work at Arch Microelectronic Materials, Novich held R&D and business management positions within the Electronics and Specialty Materials Division at PPG Industries. Prior to PPG, he was the Vice President Research, Development and Engineering at CPS Technology Corporation, a company he cofounded in 1984 with several other MIT technologists.

Novich holds multiple bachelors and masters degrees from both Colgate University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1984, he earned a Doctor of Science degree at MIT, prior to joining the MIT Department of Materials Science and Engineering as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate. Novich currently holds 22 United States patents, and more than 40 international patents, and has published more than 40 technical publications, and has received two R&D-100 Awards.
