AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Comfy, a rental marketplace that enables college students to discover and secure the optimal living situation, today launched Unbill, a mobile app for Android and iOS that empowers roommates to process and split bills evenly with a simple, drama-free click of a button, in its hometown of Austin, TX.
When roommates link their credit card to their bills via the app, Unbill automatically divides the shared bills, including utilities like water and electricity, cable and Internet. Unbill then pays those providers the roommates’ respective shares.
After a successful initial launch earlier this month at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Comfy is targeting Texas’ state capitol next due to the thriving rental scene near the University of Texas campus and across the city.
