Ellie Mae Names Two New Executive Vice Presidents

Cathleen Schreiner Gates Named EVP Sales and Marketing and Joseph Tyrrell Named EVP Corporate Strategy

PLEASANTON, Calif.--()--Ellie Mae® (NYSE: ELLI), a leading provider of innovative on-demand software solutions and services for the residential mortgage industry, today announced the promotions of Cathleen Schreiner Gates to executive vice president of sales and marketing and Joseph Tyrrell to executive vice president of corporate strategy. With the promotions, both now become officers of the company.

Schreiner Gates has served as senior vice president of sales and client services since February 2012, overseeing all sales, client management, professional services, customer support and training. Schreiner Gates holds an MBA in finance from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management and a BA in French literature from Douglass College-Rutgers University.

Tyrrell has been with Ellie Mae since 2002 and most recently held the position of senior vice president of corporate strategy, overseeing Ellie Mae’s business and corporate development efforts involving the company’s network of current and potential business partners and merger and acquisition strategies. Previously, Tyrrell served as Ellie Mae’s senior vice president of client management and business development. Tyrrell holds a BA in Business Management from St. Mary’s College.
