The 118-room Hampton Inn & Suites Denver/Highlands Ranch sold to Oliver Companies for $16.2 million. The group primarily makes investments in the lodging sector, and this is the Minnesota-based firm’s first investment in a Colorado property. The four-year-old, six-story hotel is located in an affluent Denver suburb in historic Littleton, CO, and attracts both leisure and business travelers.
“Highlands Ranch is a strong emerging market that made this young hotel an attractive investment,” said Brian Embree, vice president of Hunter’s L.A. office who managed the transaction.
Hunter also recently closed on a $9 million hotel in the heart of the Denver airport district. The Hunter Los Angeles office has closed on over 15 assets since the end of last year including assets in California, Texas, and Colorado valued at over $150 million.
