NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Odgers Berndtson, one of the world's top executive search and organizational leadership firms, today announced that Olivier Dirdarian has joined the New York office as Partner, further expanding its growing Consumer and Retail practice.
Dirdarian will manage senior-level executive search and talent assessment/advisory engagements for branded retail, apparel, cosmetics and luxury goods clients, leveraging his extensive industry relationships and sector expertise to help clients attract and retain executives with the competencies and innovative leadership ideas required to design and execute successful growth strategies within today's highly competitive and fragmented consumer markets.
In addition to conducting search engagements for C-suite roles and Board positions, he will also execute functional and business-line leadership searches, including those for heads of Product Development, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, E-Business Operations, Procurement/Supply Chain/Sourcing, Technology, and Finance, among others.
"With his strong sector knowledge, industry relationships, experience, and impressive track record of successful long-term executive placements, Olivier will have a significant impact on the continued growth of our Consumer and Retail Practice," said Steve Potter, managing partner for Odgers Berndtson's U.S. operations. "His international experience and perspective will undoubtedly be of great interest and benefit to the myriad multinational companies with which we partner every day."
Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, he was a Partner at Sterling International, where he led the firm's Consumer, Retail and Luxury Goods practice. Prior to that role, he was Executive Vice President of Page Executive, running the New York office's Corporate Practice, where he successfully completed executive search assignments for clients in the Consumer, Retail and Luxury Goods sector, as well as the Industrial sector. He had earlier launched Michael Page International's executive search practice in Paris and relocated to the United States in 2006 with a focus on international companies. Dirdarian was Financial Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte earlier in his career.
Dirdarian earned his M.B.A. from the Ecole Supérieure des Affaires in France with a concentration in Finance and Accounting, and holds the French equivalent of the Certified Public Accountant designation.
