SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT North America

Launches Resource Revolution Tour in New York

NEW YORK--()--
WHAT

The Resource Revolution Tour globally led by SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT will be launched at the New York Institute of Technology.

WHY

As scarcity of natural resources forces societies to rethink their production and consumption, and overburdened infrastructure is in desperate need of investment, SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT and its subsidiaries signal a transformation in its response to these major challenges and a new focus on resources. The Resource Revolution Tour will kick off March 12th and convene cross-industry thought-leaders and experts to discuss the urgent need to transition from a world of scarcity to a world of infinite resources.

In North America, SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT intends to:

  • Invest more than $2 billion in North America’s infrastructure over the next 5 years;
  • Equip the water service with smart meters for more than 3 million people;
  • Double a commitment to solid-waste recovery and recycling;
  • Inspire and prepare a new generation of workers to contribute to the Resource Revolution;
  • Accompany the American energy sector in its quest to lead water stewardship; and
  • Show our commitment to the Resource Revolution by joining 40 waste and water companies under one global brand to offer integrated solutions.
WHO Event speakers (in order of appearance) include:

1. Andrew Winston, best-selling author of Green Recovery and Green to Gold, and globally recognized expert on green business
2. Governor Ed Rendell, former Pennsylvania governor and expert in public-private partnerships and housing, with an emphasis on infrastructure
