GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--This morning, Dollar General (NYSE: DG) marked another significant milestone in its company growth by celebrating new store grand openings in Oregon, Maine and Rhode Island, expanding the major retailer’s presence to 43 states.

To commemorate these special occasions, grand opening celebrations were held at each of the following new stores in which customers received complimentary gift cards, tote bags, prizes, special offers and other giveaways.

Dollar General also gives its customers more than everyday low prices on basic merchandise. Stores in Maine and Rhode Island will be served by its Bethel, Pennsylvania distribution center that celebrated its grand opening in May 2014 and Oregon stores plan to be served by its Lebec, California distribution center that opened in April 2012.
