GEICO hiring more than 300 college graduates for Management Development Program in 2015

WASHINGTON--()--As we prepare to spring forward for daylight savings time, GEICO is offering college graduates the opportunity to spring their careers forward. GEICO is hiring more than 300 associates nationwide in 2015 for the Management Development Program (MDP), one of GEICO's accelerated leadership programs.

"As GEICO continues to grow, our goal is to bring on bright, driven leaders who can help maintain our momentum," said Bill Roberts, GEICO's president and chief operating officer. "Our Management Development Program is designed to provide participants with a foundation for success through on-the-job training. When our participants complete the program, they are equipped with the tools they need to successfully manage a team of as many as 10 associates."

Associates in GEICO's Management Development Program receive industry-leading training and on-the-job experience in claims, auto damage, sales or customer service tracks. The fast-track management training program also provides mentoring opportunities, real-life business projects and management forums and develops participants into future business leaders. Program lengths vary from one to two years depending on the track the candidate chooses, and participants move into positions on teams best suited for their interests and skills after their program is complete.

MDP candidates must have a bachelor's degree, preferably in business or a related field with an overall GPA of at least 3.0. from an accredited college or university. GEICO is also seeking candidates who have exhibited strong leadership skills in the community, at work or on campus.

GEICO offers competitive starting salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, continuing education, career growth opportunities, community service opportunities and a friendly, supportive workplace. For job listings and to submit an application, visit GEICO's leadership programs page.
