NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--United Realty, a leading sponsor of commercial real estate alternative investment programs that includes United Realty Trust, Inc., the SEC-registered public non-traded REIT led by Jacob Frydman, has hired Steven E. Reed as Western U.S. Divisional Head of Sales and Edward J. Frederick as Assistant Vice President of Sales. The hirings reflect the continued development of United Realty’s national distribution capabilities.

Bringing more than 30 years of experience in financial services to his new role as Western U.S. Divisional Head of Sales, Mr. Reed is responsible for United Realty’s sales west of the Mississippi River.
Prior to joining United Realty, Mr. Reed served as Product Manager for ARC Realty Finance Trust, West Divisional Manager for NorthStar Realty Securities and Senior Regional Vice President with Dividend Capital. Before working in wholesale distribution, Mr. Reed spent ten years in retail production roles with Merrill Lynch and Crowell Weedon & Company.
Mr. Reed received a B.S. in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an M.S. in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. Based in San Diego, CA, Mr. Reed has his series 7, 24, 53, 63 and 65 licenses.
Mr. Frederick joins United Realty after serving as a Business Development Specialist for TD Ameritrade, where he focused on building client relationships. Mr. Frederick received his BA and MBA from Adelphi University and holds his series 7 and 66 licenses.
