Hundreds To Benefit From Computer Training As a Result of SeniorNet and Manpower Partnership

New Skills Translate to Broader Employment Opportunities

FT. MYERS, Fla.--()--SeniorNet and Manpower announced an expanded partnership that extends computer training to Manpower participants at the SeniorNet center in Las Vegas. With the support of other large companies such as Microsoft, Adobe, Que Publishing, and IBM, SeniorNet is able to provide the most up-to-date computer training resources for underserved populations in more than 30 areas across the nation. Manpower will take over day-to-day management of the center.

Smith retired IBM Business Development Executive and SeniorNet Chairman of the Board. “We expect hundreds of trainees to benefit this year in the form of new skills and broader employment opportunities.”

Individuals who participate in the SeniorNet program will receive access to a wide variety of instructor-led technical training including Computer Fundamentals, Microsoft Office, Windows 8.1, Using Social Media to Get and Stay Connected, Tablets including Apple iPads, Internet and E-mail, Digital Photography and more, in a friendly, low-pressure environment.
