According to the complaint, the defendants are alleged to have violated certain provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Specifically, the complaint alleges, among other things, that Defendants made false and/or misleading statements and failed to disclose that MiMedx was in violation of federal regulations for its marketing and sales practices. On December 31, 2014, MiMedx announced it had received a civil subpoena from the Office of Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services. MiMedx stock dropped significantly immediately following this announcement.
