SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Satellite Healthcare, a leading national not-for-profit provider of dialysis services, is pleased to announce that Glenn Davis has joined the organization in the newly created role of Chief Innovation & Commercial Officer.
“Glenn’s passion for the dialysis industry and his experience driving strategic growth initiatives at some of the country’s leading healthcare companies – and achieving remarkable results – make him a valuable addition to Satellite,” said Rick Barnett, President and CEO of Satellite Healthcare. “I’m confident that his contributions to the executive team and to Satellite as a whole will go a long way in helping us meet our aggressive growth goals for the years ahead.”
Davis, who will lead Satellite Healthcare’s growth and innovation initiatives, brings more than 25 years of experience in the renal care industry, including positions as Vice President of Growth at Lifeline Vascular Access, a Strategic Business Unit of DaVita Kidney Care; Chief Operating Officer at Optimal Renal Care, a joint venture startup between Fresenius Medical Care and Southern California Permanente Medical Group engaged in ESRD disease management; and Baxter, where he served as Area Vice President of Sales for the Renal Division. Davis worked closely with Satellite Healthcare during his time at Baxter; the two organizations collaborated to create one of the first Treatment Options Education programs in the country and also innovated a unique capitated supply pricing agreement for home peritoneal dialysis patients. The aggregate of his roles and experiences has afforded him a broad view of the renal industry and give him a unique vantage point to drive forward growth and innovation for Satellite.
“Joining Satellite feels a bit like coming home, given my past experiences here and the respect I have for Satellite’s mission, vision and values. We are large enough to have significant scale, and small and nimble enough to pursue new and innovative opportunities in renal care. I look forward to bringing meaningful value to the patients, physicians, partners and payors we serve in our communities,” said Davis. “I am excited to be a member of the new Satellite management team and to play a leading role in the next chapter of the Satellite story as we continue to fulfill our mission of making life better for people living with kidney disease.”
Davis holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
