NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AIG Advisor Group, one of the largest independent broker-dealer networks in the nation, congratulates its seven affiliated advisors who were named to REP. magazine’s “Top 50 NextGen Independent Broker-Dealer Advisors” list that was released last month.
Five advisors from Royal Alliance Associates were named to the list, including Christopher Krell (No. 6), Justin Prescott Harris (No. 7), Brian Hugh Vendig (No. 35), Matthew Adam Blecker (No. 37) and Christopher Young (No. 43). Krell, Harris and Young are representatives of Cassady & Company, Inc., a comprehensive financial planning and investment management firm based in McLean, Virginia.
Eric Burton (No. 30) and Jeremy Landon Keating (No. 39), who are affiliated with FSC Securities Corporation, were also ranked among the top 50.
“Succession planning and addressing the growing need for younger advisors are key issues in our industry today,” said Erica McGinnis, President and CEO of AIG Advisor Group. “We are dedicated to affiliating next generation advisors at each of our four broker-dealers and having seven advisors ranked among the top 50 on this list reinforces our efforts.
“Several of these gentlemen began their careers directly out of college and have clearly been very successful, so we are extremely pleased to see them recognized by a reputable publication such as REP. magazine and we congratulate them on this honor.”
Advisors on the Top 50 NextGen Independent Broker-Dealer Advisors list are ranked exclusively by total assets under management. To be eligible, advisors had to be under the age of 40 as of Jan. 1, 2015. Nominations were solicited from the top 30 IBDs by headcount, sourced from Cerulli Associates and the results were compiled from the firms that responded.
