The agency added 11 new clients, with notable growth in two key sectors – energy and entrepreneurial education – that have become areas of performance excellence and expertise for Version 2.0. A sampling of these new clients include Berklee Institute of Creative Entrepreneurship (ICE) and Joule Unlimited, a fuels company founded within Flagship VentureLabs™. In addition, the agency added another European client, bringing the number of European companies looking to Version 2.0 for help in penetrating the U.S. market to four. The Version 2.0 team delivered numerous national features, high profile op-eds, award wins and more for its growing client roster.
Revenues for 2014 were up 16 percent from the year prior, representing the fifth consecutive year of increases and solidifying Version 2.0 as one of the fastest growing PR shops in the Northeast.
Version 2.0 expanded its Boston presence, doubling the size of its office in SoWa, a burgeoning area that is part of the city’s South End. Additionally, Version 2.0 opened an office in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. As part of its commitment to staff, the agency installed walking and standing desks to promote health and wellness. Version 2.0 also continued its commitment to the Boston technology and business communities by sponsoring The Greenlight Fund and initiating sponsorships of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and the Boston Women’s Venture Summit.
