Immersion Announces New License Agreement with MEIZU for TouchSense Tactile Feedback Technology

New MEIZU MX4 smart phone features tactile effects powered by Immersion’s TS3000 software

SAN JOSE, Calif. & SHANGHAI--()--Immersion Corporation (NASDAQ:IMMR), the leading developer and licensor of touch feedback technology, today announced that it has entered into a new license agreement with MEIZU Technology Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of mobile devices in China. Featured in the recently launched MEIZU MX4 mobile phone, Immersion’s TS3000 software, part of Immersion’s TouchSense® haptic technology solutions, creates intuitive and innovative user experiences on mobile devices by adding the sense of touch using dynamic tactile feedback in the user interface and within applications.

In the MX4, MEIZU has incorporated distinctive tactile effects within the unlock screen, while typing and screen scrolling, and throughout other features of the mobile device.
