SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Subodh Raj has joined Grant Thornton LLP as the West region Business Advisory Services leader, based in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Raj joins Grant Thornton from IBM, where he served for more than 10 years in various roles of increasing responsibility, including vice president and strategy partner within the Global Business Services division. Most recently, he led a consulting practice of more than 450 people across multiple locations in South America and Mexico. Previously, he had profit and loss responsibility for IBM’s Travel & Transportation Consulting and Systems Integration services business in the Americas.
He has nearly 20 years of consulting and strategy experience, with a focus on leading customer experience and legacy operations transformation engagements.

Previously, Raj spent several years with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as a management consultant, as well as with United Airlines, Inc. in a strategic planning role.
He received a master’s of business administration degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a master’s degree in engineering from the University of California, Irvine and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
