New Global Energy Hosts Leading Plant Biologists at Coachella Valley Farm

THERMAL, Calif.--()--New Global Energy, Inc. (OTCBB: NGEY) hosted leading plant biologist Dr. John Woods, principal of Cellulose Systems, www.cellulosesystems.com and an advisory board member, at its farm in Coachella Valley last week. Dr. Woods and his associate Dr. Joseph Ahrens will be involved in leading new platforms using Moringa as a fish food supplement, experimenting with Nano Clay on the farm, and a variety of other exploratory projects on the farm.

“This new partnership between Cellulose Systems and New Global Energy will result in new systems and processes that will shape our continually evolving industry,” said Chief Executive Officer Perry D. West.

The Woods’ patented biotechnological processes, called somatic embryogenesis and organogenesis, meet the challenges of large-scale propagation and can commercially produce thousands of plants from laboratory/green houses. In fact, an entire forest of thousands of hectares can be produced entirely within these facilities. This breakthrough allows a biomass production of 10 to 25 times that of forest and can be accomplished worldwide wherever a suitable site is identified.

M. Joseph Ahrens, PhD has been involved in technically-oriented agribusiness projects for over 30 years and is currently Senior Vice President for Business Development and Technology at United Power Company, LLC and Cellulose Systems, LLC, industrial developers of biomass and renewable energy projects in which they take equity positions. As an engineer and production and harvest specialist, Ahrens has established plantings of up to 20,000 hectares and overseen production of up to 70,000 hectares in over 20 countries.
