The IT and medical technology company Sectra (http://www.sectra.com/) (STO: SECT B) has signed a ten-year contract to supply radiology IT (PACS) to Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London. Through this investment the hospital will benefit from transparent and secure access to images and patient information throughout the patient care pathway.

US healthcare providers gave Sectra a top rating in the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) category according to the 2013 customer satisfaction survey conducted by market research company KLAS. The Kingston Hospital Foundation NHS Trust has been using Sectra PACS since 2005 as part of the National Programme for IT. The contract is a new agreement for a new solution made directly between Sectra and Kingston Hospital NHS Trust and has been ordered through the NHS Supply Chain.
