NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Accenture (NYSE:ACN) has been named a “Leader” in Gartner Inc.’s recently published “Magic Quadrant for Application Testing Services, Worldwide”1.
In this inaugural report, Gartner assessed 16 of the leading application services providers on two primary criteria - “completeness of vision” and “ability to execute.” Service categories that were measured included design: advisory and consulting services, build: deployment or IT consulting services and operate: management services.
“Being recognized as a Leader in this report is a great achievement for Accenture and our application testing services,” said Bhaskar Ghosh, group chief executive, Accenture Technology Delivery. “Testing and quality assurance continue to grow in importance to our clients, and Accenture. We are committed to offering the highest quality application testing services that employ proven industrialized processes and infuse intelligent automation into delivery so that our clients can reduce operation costs and improve application stability. With an intelligent approach to application testing, we help clients reduce critical defects by 90 percent, improve productivity by up to 50 percent and cut test operation costs in half.”
Gartner assessed each provider on their ability to execute and their completeness of vision, using client references, background briefings, news releases and other analyst interactions as the basis for designating each provider’s position in the Magic Quadrant.
